Generally, we assume that a piper will be required for 4 hours during a wedding.
This should include playing the guests into Church or the Marriage venue,
playing the Bride and Groom out, playing the guests into the Reception venue,
playing in the top table and then finally playing the Bride and Groom to their
seats. Of course, if this is slightly over 4 hours then we are reasonable about
things - weddings do not always run to time! The above tasks are just an
example, we have been asked to do things slightly differently at some weddings.
